The sandy part of the beach was very clean.  However in the rocky seaweed at the high water mark we found a lot of green rope, a broken fishing net and some plastic.

We know that the green rope is from fishermen’s creels because we saw them on the pier at Gairloch harbour.

Plastic Offenders : Pot Noodle, Atlantic Seafood Processors Limited and a boat called Oceania.

We found some dead starfish so the wildlife score here was poor.

There was a broken washed up boat with a big hole in it.

We nearly had another tennis ball but a wee Jack Russel terrier ran up and claimed it! Good Boy!
